Partnered with APU Ltd, Mongolian Football Federation's BORGIO CUP competition take placed Mongolian Football Centre Pitch from 27th of June and finished today. 27 teams and about 420 footballers participated this tournament and our members, Battsengel and Bilguun, were in squad of FC Mazaalai and FC Golden Falcon. Both amateurs and league teams all can participate this competition but in quarter final, all league teams were qualified. Like other amateur teams, BEK's team didn't qualify next round.
One of official partner, TV9 TV had brodcasted whole quarter finals, semi finals and final matches and Mazaalai FC vs Selenge Press match was first one. In this match, Battsengel scored crucial winning goal during the stoppage time and Mazaalai made superb comeback after 0:1 defeat and went through semi final. Their next opponent was Khulguud /Knights/, but defeated them after penalty shoot-out. After disappointed loss, Mazaalai and Tsengel played bronze medal game today against Khoromhon, one of main rival of Gobi Bears. Just some days ago, they played in Mongolian U21 Championship and Maz won 2:0 but today Khoromhon were the winner and final score was 3:1. The champions of this year's Borgio Cup is Ulaanbaatar University, also champion of Mongolian U21 Championship.

The reason is simple, because our members are in both of the crew of book & newspaper. From this month, June, Mongolian football long season began with Mongolian Championships of Under-21 tournament. Participation of 15 team is become this competition to the biggest tournament in recent years. In this competition, FC Mazaalai have our duo D.Battsengel & G.Zol-Erdene and finally, they got silver medal for their 10th Year Anniversary. In group stage, Mazaalai played their first match against Sharyn Gol who are one of three non-UB teams, then Battsengel's early goal sealed their first victory as a result of 2:0. Second match was against new-born club Knights, they scored 4 goals and that means they qualified knock-out stage. But the final group game was more tougher opponent, League champions Hasyn Hulgud's youth team, but Fc Mazaalai and our members great performances forced to draw with 1:1. In knock-out stage, their first enemy was Haliun Od which from Selenge Aimag and won over difficult penalty kick after 1:1 draw in 90 minutes, then they went through the semi final. FC Mazaalai and their main rival FC Khoromhon made their semi-final clash with hard and intersting performance, but the winner was FC Mazaalai, who celebrated their 10th Year Anniversary, with 2:0. FInal match was between Ulaanbaatar University and FC Mazaalai. Our members were both played in starting line ups and got vital role from their superb form. But after scoring first goal from captain of Mazaalai Erdenebold, UB University made attacking football against Maz and goals from Tsedenbal, Kim, Tumenjargal /all of them are members of national team of Mongolia except Korean/ gave them their first U-21 championship. Congrats for their beautiful game during the whole competitions to Battsengel, Zol-Erdene and Mazaalai!!!

Our Members who are participating in 18th Mongolian Student Mathematical Olimpyad won most of medals of the Mongolian biggest math' competition. Student of School of Economic Studies, E.Temuge is become Champion of Mongolia with 72 points and totally it's his 3rd golden medal of individual result from National Championship. And also teammate and classmate, G.Oyundari is placed 2nd placed and take silver medal with 62 points. Also in the team competition, team of School of Economic Studies has got golden medal and E.Temuge and G.Oyundari are member of champion team. It means that Temuge is now 4 times Mongolian Champion of Mathematical. Let's Congratulate them and wish good luck!!

Presented by UBS TV and Rising Art Studio Universe Best Song 2009 has been broadcasted since February and become one of the most interesting and have a great amount of watcher according to the TV survey. Last Sunday, this competition's 4th round held in UBS TV and our class-band North Ducks performed to the audiences and judges. They sang British Punk rock band Arctic Monkeys' hit song Flourescent Adolescent and recieve some positive critics from judges. Differences between 4th round and other rounds are audiences and also voting via messages. We will decide which competitors reach final round and leave the show. DOn't Forget, Bajgaa's number is 351. Also at the weekend, our footballers participated two big competitions and had a great succeed. First, football championship of National University of Mongolia's 3rd building which consist of SMC, SMT, School of Law and School of Journalist. There were 15 teams and held in pitch of Erel Secondary School. In this competition, our representers who are also played in NUM's football team M.Ulziihutag, N.Byambajav played together in one team and won the first place. N.Byambajav scored 9 goals in 6 matches and became top goalscorer of the competition. Congratulations to the Champions!!!
Second competition was Championship of All University of Science and Technology. Held in Mongolian Football Federation's green pitch and participated all department schools of UST. Our member Yaruu played for School of Foreign Language and qualified their group and became one of the best 8 teams. But they lost School of Geology and placed 5th place, in case of School of Geology's golden medal. Congrats to Yaruu and good luck for his future career!!!

Last Weekend, Our members who are studying in economics were busy in case of Economics Olympiad. In the first round there are 310 participants and 62 teams divided 3 zones and best 3 teams of each zones are go through next round. Our 10 representers participated this competition with their team. As a team result, In A zone, Khulan & Budmaa's team named "BERS" won the first place and Natsgaa's "ОУХ-1" placed second. But Temuge's team "Peak Point" and Oyundari & BEK's team "Natural Monopoly" were taken 4th and 5th place and couldn't get through next round. Also unfortunately, Uundaa's "G-5" placed 4th place in B zone and Tsengel & Suhee's "Invisible Hand", Zoogii's "Young Managers" were participated this competition. As a individual result, Khulan, who has 35 points had taken 7th place. Congratulations to all the competitors and good luck for their next final round!!!
